Research topics
Human evolution, variation, demographic history and microevolution
Familial relationship in and between burial sites ; population history ; geographical origins
Health and dental status in past populations, the evolution of pathogens and diseases

Current research
Paleogenetic and paleogenomic of human Yakut population from 16th to 19th century, Eastern Siberia
Cold adaptation of Yakutian horses, Siberia
Studies of human relationship in neolithic collective burials, Europe
Research of pathogens in French populations (from medieval to 18th century)

Research experiences
After getting my PhD in molecular genetics, I joined the French National Institute of Agronomic Research in the Department of Animal Genetics (INRA) as research engineer specialized in molecular biology, genetic and genomic. Two years ago, I was seconded at the CNRS in the Laboratory of Molecular Anthropology and Image Synthesis (AMIS-UMR5288) in the team “environmental and socio-cultural co-evolutionary processes in ancient human populations”. The mission assigned to me concerns the participation in development of genomics in the team. The first aims was to develop the use of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for the research of pathogens in French populations (from medieval to 18th century) and to acquire the knowledge in bio-informatics for big-data analysis.
